This study investigates blends obtained from a commercial PA fabric containing 16% EL, processed via extrusion under various conditions to evaluate the influence of temperature, screw type, and speed on phase morphology and thermo-mechanical performance. The results demonstrate that processing parameters, particularly temperature, significantly affect melt viscosity and the final mechanical properties of the blends.

Since its launch in May 2024, the SOLSTICE project is driving a shift from linear models to circular regional ecosystems in the textile industry, focusing on four key territories: Grenoble-Alpes Métropole (France), Berlin (Germany), Prato (Italy), and Catalonia (Spain). By mid-project, SOLSTICE has already revealed both regional disparities and promising solutions to strengthen textile repair, reuse, and recycling infrastructure.

Launched today, the SOLSTICE project supports sustainable growth in the textile sector by raising customer awareness, enhancing recycling with new sorting methods, ensuring feedstock traceability using the Digital Product Passport, and providing data and guidelines to decision-makers.
